Don’t let the fear of AI paralyze your workforce.
We're excited about AI, not because it can do the work for us, but because it challenges us to think more deeply about what makes us human.
In her recent article published in The AI Journal, "Don't Let the Fear of AI Paralyze Your Workforce," our CEO & Founder, Sandra Kapell, explores how leaders can help employees navigate AI-driven change with confidence, trust, and a commitment to continuous learning.
"A learning, change agile mindset is the key to unlocking your workforce."
We have the conversation about AI all wrong. Well, mostly wrong. What’s right is that AI is going to drive the economy in ways both predictable and unpredictable. It is going to fundamentally alter how people work. All people, not just coders or people doing repetitive work. If you aren’t at least considering how AI can change the way you do your work, you are missing out.
But honestly, that’s just about all that is right. AI is new and new is scary. It is convenient to blame AI for the layoffs that businesses would have made anyway. This is not helping. At a time when we should be doubling down on educating our workforce, we are deemphasizing national standards around education. Also not helping. We need smart people now more than ever. AI doesn’t’ specialize in creating new. Humans specialize in creating new and making illogical connections, that turn out to be brilliant.
